We came to fuel from a world where logistics does not forgive mistakes

SMBG started in the production and distribution of consumer goods. There, a one-day supply failure means an empty shelf, and an empty shelf means a lost customer.

We brought this discipline to petroleum products. When the group acquired its first refining capacity, we saw a familiar picture: fuel passes through three or four resellers before it reaches the one who actually uses it. Each adds a markup, none is responsible for quality.

We built a short chain. Today the group has several of its own oil refineries, and the SMBG Oil trading house makes sure their output reaches the buyer directly: with a quality certificate, at a transparent price and on the agreed date.
